I refer to this care as devotional bodywork because the foundation of my offerings are devoted to allow time and space for your body to trust, to feel safe, to soften and open and receive. My heart is so grateful to curate these spaces of devotional bodywork. The future of therapy will involve human touch. We increasingly live in world that is intimacy starved, affection starved, touch starved. Our true Eros has been so distorted. The impact of isolation, individualisation and disconnection is felt everywhere.
Women’s bodies are the altar at which I am called to serve. Offering loving devotional presence to honour the temple of a woman’s body. To restore honour when there has been dishonour. Soothing nervous systems. Finding safety again in their body through receiving loving touch.
