Closing Ceremony

A three-hour immersion to honour thresholds, transitions and rebirth

Life’s transitions are sacred thresholds where an old chapter closes and a new one begins to form.

A Closing Ceremony gathers the threads of your story with witnessing, ritual, honour and intention so the ending becomes medicine and the beginning becomes blessed.

A Sacred Wrapping Ritual

This is not a traditional Closing of the Bones ceremony. I’ve never referred to what I offer as that. This ritual did not come to me through a specific lineage, though I bow deeply to the cultures and peoples who carry these sacred traditions. What I offer arose through soul remembrance rather than a singular lineage: a thread from the ancestral field that asked to be woven through my hands.

Across continents and through time, women have been wrapped and enclosed after major transitions: postpartum, grief, loss, initiation, identity shifts. The ritual of gathering a woman, binding, rocking, tightening and loosening, has always called her back to her centre. This ceremony carries that ancient hum. It draws from midwifery gnosis, from womb to tomb, from the wrapping of the dead to the cocooning of the grieving to the swaddling of the new mother.

The need to be witnessed, gathered and returned to oneself is universal and timeless.

For the Woman in Transition

This three-hour devotional bodywork immersion weaves body rocking, womb tending, digestive tract and sacral massage, ritual wrapping, sound healing and energy work.

You will be held, witnessed, rocked and cocooned with sacred touch in loving, attuned presence.

Ceremony supports you to move through change, it creates a sacred space to acknowledge what is shifting within you and to meet the next chapter of your life with intention.

I offer Closing Ceremonies for women in all seasons of womanhood: Maiden, Mother, Maga and Crone.

This ritual can honour birth, matrescence, birth trauma, loss, abuse, health initiations, divorce, abortion, early pregnancy loss, hysterectomy, menarche, perimenopause and menopause. It is for any moment a woman is undergoing significant change or rebirth.

Rites of Passage

Rites of passage once lived at the centre of community life: birth, puberty, marriage, initiation, grief, death.
They offered psychological, emotional and spiritual holding, guiding us across thresholds with structure, witnessing and belonging.

So many of these ceremonies have been lost. Women often move through change privately or unsupported, leaving transitions feeling incomplete or unmarked. Ceremony restores what was taken. It returns us to our deeper rhythms, our ancestral wisdom and our innate need to be held through change.

Rites of passage are sacred thresholds. Liminal moments where the woman you once were dissolves and the woman you are becoming begins to emerge.

Every threshold carries phases…

Separation
The unravelling. It asks you to release the identities that once defined you but now keep you small. Like the caterpillar dissolving into cellular soup inside the chrysalis, this is the death before the rebirth… the shedding of skins that once protected you but now weigh too heavy to carry forward.

Initiation
The descent and the mystery. Here you are deep in the chrysalis - the imaginal cells of potential. The discomfort of the betwix and between. At the edge of what has ended and what has not yet begun. The holy pause where old ways dissolve and the new has not yet formed. It is the fertile darkness where every transformation is birthed.

Return
The re-emergence. You step over the threshold changed, never to return as the woman you once were. Wings unfurling, you rise as your reborn self. To be witnessed in your new role, honoured for all you have shed and celebrated for all you are becoming and have ever been.

Devotion • Receiving • Witnessing • Holding

Inside my home temple in Newquay I create a sanctified space where nothing is asked of you.
A place where you can soften into receiving.
A place where every part of you is welcomed.
A place where the untethering, the unravelling and the homecoming are honoured as holy.

It is my privilege to hold women in the fires of transformation and welcome their return to the realms of reclamation and liberation.
My hands become an offering of presence, nourishment, sacred touch and devotion.

  • “I had the most potent closing ceremony with Amy which has led to the most beautiful new beginnings in my life. Being held in ceremony with Amy was a threshold moment to letting go of the past and opening up the portal to the next chapter of my life. I felt held, seen and honoured throughout. Amy has a very special gift supporting women to return to their power that every woman should experience.”

  • “I had the most incredible, life changing Closing Ceremony 4 months after giving birth to my baby boy. I had a very traumatic birth and I felt that it was casting a dark shadow over my motherhood experience. There are no words for how incredibly healing the experience was. I was able to go into a mental state of profound healing. After the Closing Ceremony my life has completely changed. I’m enjoying motherhood which is what I always dreamed of before the traumatic birth took that away from me. I hope my words are read by the next woman who might have had a similar experience to mine. You are not alone and there is help out there. Amy is a guiding light, a healer and a pure soul.”

  • “I'm still basking in the blissful energy from yesterday. Walking on a cloud. I can't put into words how deeply transformative the closing ceremony felt for me. This is healing at a quantum level. I don't think I have ever felt so held and honoured."

  • “Held, nurtured, rocked and listened to. Honoured. Spaciousness to BE. To unfurl. To go to the places, the nooks and crannies deeply embedded into not just my cells by my soul. Amy intuitively went to the hard to reach places - the caves where all the secrets reside. And she woke up the stories that lay quite happily taking up my space! Wake up! Time to rise! Out you come, we’ve some new dreams to form. It felt good to have those parts rocked awake, not to sleep.”
